Lindenhurst residents can burn their leaves now, but that privilege may soon go up in smoke if one village trustee has his way.
“I`m really strongly opposed to continued burning in the village,“
said Thomas Berger, who has a doctorate in biology and is manager of a microbiology research group for Abbott Laboratories. “It is a health hazard and it is environmentally unsound.“
